Purpose of the Workshops: To offer a training opportunity for mental health professionals who provide clinical supervision. This training will fulfil the educational requirements to obtain the Board Qualified Supervisor (BQS;LPC-S) license in state of Mississippi.
Structure: Training provided with instructors and content information appropriate for the NBCC Approved
Clinical Supervisor Credential. The content areas of the National Board for Certified Counselors Approved
Clinical Supervisor Credential are utilized and divided into four sections (see description below). Even though
the training is structured to meet the NBCC requirements, MLPCA is only an approved provider for the LPC
Board (#MLPCA 1111).
